The research aimed to identify the effect of a training program based on soft skills in developing the professional competencies of female science teachers in the intermediate stage. To achieve this goal, the experimental approach with a semi-experimental design was used. A random sample of middle school science teachers was selected from the original community for research, numbering (25) female teachers. The Occupational Competencies Observation Card was applied before and after on this sample. The research reached several results, the most important of which are: 1) There are statistically significant differences at the level (0.01) between the mean scores of the parameters in both the pre and post application of the professional competency observation card in favor of the post application. 2) The presence of a significant effect of the educational program based on soft skills on the professional competencies of female science teachers at the intermediate stage.
