This study aims to try to find out the attitudes of faculty members in the department of psychology and educational sciences towards using audio-visual techniques in enhancing communication skills in children with autism spectrum disorder. This study falls within descriptive research. We relied on the descriptive approach to study a purposive sample represented by the faculty members of the department of psychology and educational sciences at the University of Mohamed Khaidr in Biskra - Qutb Shtma - who numbered (69) male and female professors, through a basic tool for collecting data from the field of study, represented by the questionnaire form, via an electronic link. It was sent to the department professors based on e-mail, and the study reached a set of results, the most important of which are: 1) The study revealed that children with a less severe level of autism spectrum disorder can be trained to produce a short film (3-5 minutes). 2) The results showed that producing the short film helps integrate children with autism spectrum disorder, which enhances their communication skills. 3) The results revealed that the short film enhances the ability of children with autism spectrum disorder to express their thoughts and feelings.
