This study aims to explore the role of artificial intelligence in improving academic efficiency and research quality among university students, so we relied in this study on the descriptive approach by constructing an electronic form and distributing it to students specializing in social sciences, which numbered 100 students, so that the results showed that university students who receive academic training in artificial intelligence applications possess basic skills that enable them to use these applications effectively in their scientific research, and the results of the study also showed that university students who rely on artificial intelligence techniques to solve academic problems and prepare academic work show noticeable improvements in academic efficiency and research quality, and that the use of artificial intelligence as a tool in scientific research and learning enhances the quality of the efficiency of the educational and research process, which calls for its general use in higher education.
