The study aimed to identify the view of the mothers of the dropped students of attending return, as well as mothers' concept of school dropout in government primary schools in Jeddah during the Corona pandemic, and the research revealed the reasons for the dropout students from the mothers' point of view. The study also identified the proposals of the mothers of the dropped students; to reduce the damage caused by school dropout. So, to achieve this, the study followed the qualitative approach: a case study, and the data were collected by applying the research tool, which was a semi-open- ended individual interview. The number of participants in the study was (four mothers) and they were chosen in an intentional way. The study concluded with the most important results, which was: There is a positive and negative view of the concept of dropout among mothers of students who drop out of attendance at the primary stage. As for the reasons for dropping out of school dropouts, they were many, the most prominent of which are reasons related to the Corona pandemic, reasons related to the student's family, reasons related to the treatment of educational loss, and reasons related to the school Among the proposals that were referred to reduce the damages resulting from student dropout were self-learning for students at home, and referencing distance study as an alternative for dropout students, taking into account the special circumstances of the family and the student. Among the most important recommendations of the study related to the most important results: that Ministry of Education should activate self-learning through modern technical programs and applications that include curricula for students who have dropped out of the primary stage. Also, that Ministry of Education should activate remote study through Madrasati platform for students who have dropped out and who are governed by special circumstances that prevent them from attending school to reduce the problem of school dropout. Ministry of Education also should seek to train the educational staff on how to deal with students who have dropped out of school and their families. (Published abstract)
