The research aimed to identify the computational thinking skills that must be included in the content of computer and information technology courses for the intermediate grade in Saudi Arabia, and to explore the extent to which computational thinking skills are included in the content. The researchers utilized a descriptive analytical approach and prepared a content analysis card that consisted of five main skills: decomposition, algorithmic thinking, abstraction, evaluation, and generalization, which included (34) indicators. The research sample consisted of all educational questions. The research findings revealed that the inclusion of computational thinking skills is at a very high percentage in the content of the intermediate grade with a rate of (100%). Whereas the inclusion of computational thinking skills is at a very high percentage in the content of the first intermediate grade with a rate of (201.4%) and at a weak percentage in the content of the second intermediate grade with a rate of (35.5%). And the inclusion of computational thinking skills is at a high percentage in the content of the third intermediate grade with a rate of (66.0%). Despite most results are quantitatively high, they don’t reflect qualitatively satisfactory results. The researchers recommended benefit from the indicators in this research. (Published abstract)
