تحليل محتوى كتاب "المهارات الحياتية والأسرية" للصف الأول الابتدائي في ضوء مهارات القرن الحادي والعشرين

The study aimed to analyze the content of (life and family skills) textbook for the first grade in light of some life skills. It used the descriptive approach using the method of content analysis. The sample was from all subjects of (the Life and Family Skills) textbook for the first grade in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in its first and second semesters 2021 AD 1443- AH edition. Also, it used the content analysis tool. The results showed that the inclusion of life skills in the content of the family education textbook for the first grade differs in its levels. The problem-solving skill was in a medium degree, the information technology skill was in a low degree, then it followed by health skills, environmental skills, and cooperation skills. Accordingly, the researchers recommended providing (life and family skills) textbooks with various activities that help the student to analyze and think deeply. The aim is to provide them with critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Also the (Life and Family Skills) textbook should include some topics and activities that encourage the use of computers and modem technologies to provide children with some of the technical skills that are required by the skills of the twenty-first century.
