The study aimed to identify the difficulties facing students of field training in higher institutes. It was an applied study at the Higher Institute of Science and Technology, Tarhuna, and to reach results and recommendations that contribute to overcoming difficulties and finding appropriate solutions by highlighting the difficulties. The problem of the study lies in the following question: What are the difficulties facing students Field training in higher technical institutes. For the purposes of completing the study and achieving its objectives, the study used the analytical descriptive approach, by using the questionnaire as a tool for collecting primary data that was distributed to the study community. Their number is (54), and after obtaining the primary data, they were subjected to analysis using several appropriate statistical methods based on the use of the Statistical Packages for Social Sciences software, which is abbreviated by the symbol (SPSS) version 20. The study concluded with a set of results: 1) There are difficulties in vocational training due to the students themselves, as the respondents do not agree with the average level, as it came with a standard deviation (0.46) with an arithmetic mean (1.89), which indicates a weak benefit from the field training due to the students. 2) There are difficulties in vocational training due to the training supervisor, as the respondents do not agree with the average level, as it came with a standard deviation (0.62) with an arithmetic mean (2.33), which indicates a weak benefit from field training due to the training supervisor. 3) There are difficulties in vocational training due to the training institution, as the respondents do not agree with the average level, as it came with a standard deviation (0.73) with an arithmetic mean (2.05), which indicates a weak benefit from field training due to the training institution. 4) There are difficulties in vocational training due to the administration, as the respondents do not agree with the average level, as it came with a standard deviation (1.19) with an arithmetic mean (2.69), which indicates a weak benefit from field training due to the administration.
