This study aims to identify whether there are academic problems facing faculty members at the College of Education, Bani Walid University, from their point of view, as well as to know the differences in the viewpoints of faculty members regarding the existence of academic problems according to the variables: gender and academic specialization. The approach was used to achieve this. Descriptive using the method of exploratory studies, and the questionnaire tool. The research community consisted of (226) members, and the research sample was chosen in a systematic random way, as its number reached (40) faculty members, representing 17.7% of the study population. After applying the study and conducting statistical processing, the results showed: There are academic problems in the College of Education according to the viewpoint of faculty members, and that there are no statistically significant differences in the viewpoints of faculty members regarding the presence of academic problems due to the variables of gender and academic specialization.
