The research aimed to investigate the Islamic educational view of the concept of psychological hardness, and to clarify the most prominent aspects and determinants of this concept, and to provide a critical vision to clarify the shortcomings included in the concept of psychological hardness, and then highlight the aspects that address this deficiency through Islamic educational sources. The research was based on the deductive method. The research concluded with a number of results, including: 1) Psychological hardness represents a general belief in the individual's ability to exploit all available psychological and environmental resources and potential, in order to realize the difficult events of life. 2) All dimensions of psychological hardness in the Western perspective agree that man is the master of his destiny, and that he is able to adapt, learn, make his decisions, solve many of the problems he faces, triumph over his enemies, and obey nature. 3) The concept of psychological hardness, although it appears to be objective and in line with contemporary life, the background of this concept is based on a defect in the origins and belief, and this is evident in the turns and dimensions of psychological hardness and in the assets on which it was built. 4) The greatest shortcoming of the concept of psychological hardness is its abolition of faith in God, the omission of the spiritual aspect, and in return the glorification of man even as if he is in control of this universe and of this life. 5) In dealing with crises, disorders and psychological pressures, Islamic education follows a distinct educational curriculum that achieves a balance between the spiritual and material aspects of the human personality, thus achieving a reassuring personality that enjoys mental health.
