The research aimed to identify the effect of an educational program based on the knowledge economy in the Arabic language to develop self-learning skills among female students in the first intermediate year. To achieve this goal, the descriptive approach was used to prepare the educational program based on the knowledge economy in the Arabic language in each of the fields (cognitive, technical, economic, social, and national). The experimental method was used with a one-group quasi-experimental design with pre- and post-test. To determine the impact of an educational program based on the knowledge economy in the Arabic language to develop self-learning skills among first-year intermediate school female students. The research was limited to a simple random sample chosen from female first-year intermediate students in the fourteenth school in Abha in the Asir region as an experimental group for this research. They number (70) students. In this research, we relied on an e-learning program based on the knowledge economy in the Arabic language to develop self-learning skills among first-year middle school female students. The self-learning skills scale was used as a research tool. The results reached: There are statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05) between the average The scores of the female students of the experimental group in both the pre- and post-application of the self-learning skills scale, in favor of the post-application. The size of the effect of the independent variable “the educational program based on the knowledge economy in teaching the Arabic language” on the dependent variable “self-learning skills” was large.
