أسباب ضعف الأساسيات الرياضية لدى طلاب المرحلة الثانوية من وجهة نظر المعلمين بمدينة بنغازي
This study aimed to find out the reason for the weakness of mathematics basics among Secondary schools school students from the point of view of teachers in the city of Benghazi. The researchers used the descriptive approach, and the study sample consisted of (120) teachers of mathematics for the Secondary schools stage in the city of Benghazi. The presence of many distractions for the student, such as television, phones, the Internet, etc., and the demand for scientific summaries while studying are among the most important reasons that may lead to weakness in the student’s mathematical basics. The results of the study also showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level (α=0.05). The study recommended several recommendations, the most important of which is that parents should urge their children to reduce the use of distractions such as phones, electronic games, television, and others. The teacher must link mathematical concepts to each other, which helps to understand the mathematical basics more accurately, and encourage students to rely on the textbook and avoid using summaries while studying.
