فاعلية تقنية الواقع الافتراضي الغامرة في تنمية التفكير التخيلي لدى طالبات الصف الحادي عشر في مادة التربية الإسلامية واتجاهاتهن نحو التقنية
The study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of immersive virtual reality technology in developing imaginative thinking in the subject of Islamic education and the attitudes of eleventh-grade female students towards the technology used in Maryam Bint Imran School in the Sultanate of Oman. The quasi-experimental approach was used. The study sample was divided into two equal groups: the experimental and the control groups. The experimental group consisted of (24) female students, who studied using immersive, interactive virtual reality technology, and the control group consisted of (32) female students who studied in the usual way. The results showed the effectiveness of immersive virtual reality technology in developing academic achievement among a sample of eleventh-grade female students. The results also showed the presence of positive trends towards using virtual reality technology for the benefit of the experimental group. The study was concluded with some recommendations, perhaps the most prominent of which is the necessity of working on employing technology. Immersive educational virtual reality in the teaching process because of the positive results it achieves in the educational process. (Published abstract)
