The study aims to analyze the current distribution of school buildings for the basic education stage in the city of Bani Walid, and determine the type of distribution, and its suitability to the number and distribution of the population. The study focused on the city of Bani Walid, which has an area of (9179) hectares, approximately (extending astronomically 31.50°.21° -28.42°.31 north) and longitude (14°8.10° -56°.44°.13° east), which is located in the north-western part of Libya. Research problems: What is the reality of the spatial distribution of buildings in the city of Bani Walid? Does it meet the needs of the city’s residents? What is its distribution pattern? The research aims to identify the geographical distribution of educational buildings for the basic education stage, and whether they are appropriate and to evaluate this spatial distribution. The GIS program and its statistical analyses were used, and two approaches were relied upon to analyze the data: the descriptive and analytical approaches. In data analysis. As for the hypothesis: The spatial distribution of educational buildings for the basic education stage is represented by a specific pattern, or is it just a random distribution?
