Media education is one of the concepts that was launched recently in our Arab world, as it increases the ability to read, analyze, evaluate and produce communication, and because media awareness is not limited to the side of receiving and criticism only, but must go beyond that to the conscious and purposeful participation in the production of media content. Media education encourages a person to stop when media messages are received in order to analyze them and determine their goal, and to whom are they directed? Why was it formulated within a specific framework? What facts are there or missing in them? What are the impartial sources that can be verified? Based on this, the current research confirms that media education is an integrated system consisting of a media outlet that presents content that has a positive or negative impact on university students within a media content that adheres to their knowledge of the strategies and skills of understanding, analysis, perception, criticism and creativity. The researcher recommended the importance of studying the level of university students' awareness of media education in the light of appropriate academic standards, with a questionnaire of the opinions of faculty members in the faculties of education, specific education and information, with the possibility of providing an integrated program for the media education course, and it is suitable for educational media students in particular and for university students in general.
