This study aimed to explore the impact of applying modern school management theories, such as total quality management, change management, and modern educational leadership, on improving the quality of education and achieving school excellence in schools in the Asir educational region from the teachers' point of view. The study came in light of the urgent need to keep pace with rapid developments in educational systems and adopt effective administrative methods to achieve educational goals effectively and efficiently. The study relied on a descriptive analytical approach using a questionnaire distributed to a sample of teachers in schools in the Asir region. The study addressed a number of main axes, including improving academic performance, change management, and modern educational leadership, with the aim of evaluating the impact of these axes on the quality of education and achieving school excellence. The results showed that there was positive consensus among teachers about the impact of modern school management theories on improving academic performance and school excellence. The most influential axes were change management and modern educational leadership, as these axes recorded high arithmetic averages, indicating their significant role in achieving tangible improvements in the educational process. On the other hand, the results showed some challenges facing the application of these theories in schools, including lack of financial and technical resources, resistance to change, and lack of training and qualification. The study concluded the need to enhance the adoption of modern school management theories in schools in the Asir region, and to provide the necessary support to overcome the challenges that hinder their application, including improving financial and technical resources, providing specialized training programs, encouraging innovation, and resisting fear of change. The study recommended intensifying efforts to implement these theories in an integrated manner to ensure the achievement of quality education and sustainable school excellence in the Asir region.
