The study aimed to identify the degree to which basic stage teachers possess scientific research skills in the Amman kasbah district in the capital Amman governorate. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive survey method was adopted, and the study sample consisted of (367) male and female basic stage teachers who were selected in the manner available from the study population. Overall, a questionnaire was developed consisting of (44) items distributed into four areas. The results of the study showed that the degree to which basic stage teachers possess scientific research skills was (medium). The study recommended increasing teachers' interest in scientific research and integrating it into the school curricula as a scientific method and method of teaching and learning, spreading conceptual and practical awareness of scientific research skills and urging teachers alike to learn its skills.
