This study aimed to reveal the predictive ability of mental alertness with academic achievement in the Arabic language, and the predictive analytical approach was used, and the study sample was randomly taken with a total number of (316) male and female students, and the results showed that there are significant differences in the average mental alertness in favor of outstanding students in the academic achievement of the Arabic language, and the results indicated that the level of student achievement in the Arabic language can be predicted through the level of mental alertness they have. The researcher recommended a set of recommendations and proposals, including: holding training courses for faculty members for the Arabic language at the Department of Education in Samael, employing mental alertness in teaching strategies and educational activities in the learning and teaching process of the subject, and conducting studies in mental alertness for achievement variables for other subjects or psychological variables and emotional problems such as anxiety or its link to thinking and perceived self-efficacy and others.
