The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of using the cooperative learning strategy on developing the skill of writing spelling in the Arabic language course for third-grade primary students at the Nahawand First Mixed Elementary School / Marka District in Jordan. To achieve this goal, the researcher built an educational strategy based on cooperative learning and applied it to the study sample that consisted of (50) male and female students of the third grade of elementary school in Marka District. The results of the study showed statistically significant differences in the development of spelling writing skills among the students of the experimental group that studied using Cooperative learning compared to the control group students who studied in the usual way. The study recommended the adoption of a cooperative learning strategy due to its importance in spelling writing and its use in the classroom environment. (Published abstract)
