This study aims to identify the reality of school counseling during COVID-19 pandemic from the public school counselors’ perspective considering two variables: The gender of counselor and his/her years of experience by applying the descriptive survey approach. Accordingly, a questionnaire, consisting of 29paragraphs, was conducted to collect data, which includes four fields: Nature of school counseling, professional growth and advancement, administrative interaction, and social interaction. The sample of this study, selected randomly, consisted of 63 male and female counselors during the 2021-2022 academic year. The results revealed that the level of its dimensions is moderate. They also showed that the differences are significant in favor of female counselors in the field of school counseling nature and social interaction. Whereas, the preference in the level of general performance over professional growth and advancement, and administrative interaction in terms of years of experience is to those with 4 years’ experience or more. The current study recommended working on improving counselors’ digital competence and employing virtual communication means in school counseling. (Published abstract)
