The aim of this research is to identify the differences in the rate of functional performance of the pronunciation and speech process between boys and girls, and the research sample consisted of (30) boys and girls of the hearing-impaired children in the pre-school stage (3:5) years, the researcher applied a case study form for children and their families (prepared/ researcher), and the function performance battery was used for the pronunciation and speech process of pre-school children (prepared/ researcher), the results of the current research revealed that there were statistically significant differences between boys and girls in the rate of functional performance of the pronunciation and speech process on the "first dimension" of the battery, attributed to the type "girls", the results of the research also showed that there were no statistically significant differences between boys and girls in the rate of functional performance of the pronunciation and speech process for the dimensions of the battery "the second dimension: speech reception, the third dimension: send speech, the fourth dimension: pronunciation of sounds" among the hearing impaired children in the pre-school stage.
