The study aims to verify the effectiveness of a cognitive- behavioral program to improve ego for female students in high secondary schools with diabetes. The main study sample consisted of (16) female students with diabetes in high secondary schools and their ages ranged from (15-18) years. They were randomly divided into two groups man a control group that includes (8) female students who did not receive the program, and experimental group that includes (8) female students who received the cognitive-behavioral program. The study instruments consisted of ego strength scale and the cognitive-behavioral program all of it prepared (by the researcher). The researcher used the Mann-Whitney test for independent small groups and Wilcoxon signed Ranks test for small related groups to verify hypotheses, and Eta-squared coefficient square (Eta-squared ) to calculate the effect of force of the program. The results showed the effectiveness of the cognitive –behavioral program in improving ego strength for female students in high secondary school with diabetes. (Published abstract)
