The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of an engineering unit in light of constructivist theory in developing mathematical representation skills among primary school students in Riyadh. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive analytical method to develop the engineering unit, then the quasi-experimental method. The tools consisted of a test in mathematical representation skills, and the study was applied. On a sample chosen randomly; the total sample was (58) female students in the second year of primary school, distributed equally between the experimental and control groups. The study reached the following results: There are statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05) between the average grades of the female students in the control group and the average grades of the female students in the experimental group. in acting skill for the benefit of the experimental group. In light of the results reached in the current study and their interpretations. The researcher recommends the following: developing the mathematics curriculum for the primary stage according to constructivist theory, and training teachers to develop mathematical representation skills among female primary stage students.
