The study aimed to identify the degree of practicing authentic leadership by school principals in the second Zarqa educational Region and its relationship with the level of voluntary behavior among their teachers. A descriptive correlational methodology was used, employing a questionnaire as a tool for the study, which consisted of three parts. The first part included personal information of the study sample members, the second part addressed authentic leadership, consisting of 32 items distributed across four domains (self-awareness, balanced processing, internalized moral perspective, and relational transparency), and the third part addressed voluntary behavior, consisting of 20 items distributed across four domains (altruism, courtesy and kindness, conscientiousness, and sportsmanship). The validity and reliability of the questionnaire were ensured. The study sample comprised 330 teachers, representing 10% of the study population. The study found the following results: 1) The degree of practicing authentic leadership by principals in the second Zarqa schools, from the teachers' perspective, was high, with no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the sample respondents on the domains of authentic leadership based on gender. However, there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the sample respondents on the domain of self-awareness based on educational qualification, favoring bachelor’s degree holders. 2) The results also indicated significant differences between the mean scores of the sample respondents on the domains of authentic leadership (self-awareness, balanced processing) based on years of service, favoring those with less than 5 years of service. 3) The study showed a high level of voluntary behavior among the teachers, with no statistically significant differences in the mean scores on the domains of voluntary behavior based on gender, but with significant differences based on educational qualification, favoring bachelor’s degree holders. 4) The results also revealed statistically significant differences in the mean scores on the domains of voluntary behavior (altruism, conscientiousness, sportsmanship) based on years of service, favoring those with 5 to less than 10 years of service. 5) The study found a significant positive correlation between the degree of practicing authentic leadership by school principals in the second Zarqa schools and the voluntary behavior of their teachers. Based on the study results, the researcher recommends various recommendations, including enhancing the practice of authentic leadership and voluntary behavior through workshops for both principals and teachers.
