The aim of the study was to identify the degree of inclusion of economic concepts in the content of the developed mathematics textbook for the eighth grade in Jordan, scheduled for the academic year 2023-2024. To achieve the study objectives, the researcher used the descriptive approach and content analysis method. The study population and sample consisted of the content of the developed mathematics textbook of the basic eighth grade in Jordan, including the student textbook, workbook, and supplementary worksheets. To answer the questions of the study, the researcher developed a study instrument, which is an analysis card, after verifying its validity and reliability of its components of economic concepts distributed across six domains: investment and economic institution, production and economic resources, buying and selling, economic transaction and currencies, expenditure and revenues, comprising 71 indicators. The results showed a low level of inclusion of economic concepts with variation in the degree of inclusion between areas. The highest inclusion was in the area of buying and selling with a percentage of 35.71%, followed by economic transactions with 29.02%, investment and economic investments with 13.85%, expenditure and revenues with 12.95%, production and economic resources with 7.14%, and Islamic economic concepts with 1.34%. Hence, there is a need to increase the inclusion in the content of the basic eighth grade. (Author’s abstract)
