فاعلية القصة المصورة في تنمية مهارات التحدث باللغة العربية لدى طلبة الصف الخامس الأساسي في الأردن
The study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of the comic strip in developing Arabic speaking skills among fifth grade students in Jordan. The quasi-experimental approach was used, and the study population consisted of fifth grade students in Mafraq. Fifth grade students at Umm Al Qatin School were selected. For boys as a study sample, numbering (48) students, they were divided into two groups, the experimental group, numbering (24) students, and the control group, numbering (24) students. (4) educational units were selected from the Arabic language book for the fifth grade, which are: : (Dental care unit, modern inventions unit, determination and persistence unit, kindness and gentleness unit), (4) suitable picture stories were chosen for the educational units, and a note card was prepared for Arabic speaking skills and consisted of (16) paragraphs. After conducting statistical treatments, the results showed that there were statistically significant differences at a significant level (a ≤ 0.05) in the students’ grades. The fifth grade on the speaking skills note card according to the teaching method (comic story, regular), and the differences were in favor of the experimental group students who studied for the comic strip compared to the students who studied in the regular method. The study recommended the necessity of using the storyboard in the educational process, employing it in the Arabic language subject, encouraging Arabic language teachers to produce Arabic language lessons, designing them with the storyboard, emphasizing the importance of pictures and drawings in the educational process, and increasing the space for their use in the Arabic language curriculum.
