درجة تضمين كتاب الكيمياء للصف الحادي عشر لأبعاد التنمية المستدامة في الأردن
The study aimed to identify the level of integration of the chemistry textbook for the eleventh grade in Jordan towards dimensions of sustainable development. The study followed a descriptive-analytical approach using the content analysis method. The study community and sample consisted of the chemistry textbook for eleventh grade for the academic year 2021/2022. A proposed list of dimensions of sustainable development to be included in the chemistry textbook was prepared. The list was developed into a content analysis card consisting of 38 indicators distributed across three main areas: social, economic, and environmental dimensions. After verifying the validity and reliability of the study tool, the content of the chemistry textbook for the eleventh grade was analyzed. The frequencies and percentages were calculated, revealing that the dimensions of sustainable development for eleventh grade appeared in the following order: the social dimension ranked first, followed by the environmental dimension, then the economic dimension. Based on the results, the researcher recommended the importance of focusing the content of the chemistry textbook on the economic dimension. (Author’s abstract)
