أثر القراءة الحرة في تحسين مهارات التعبير الإبداعي لدى طالبات الصف التاسع الأساسي في الأردن
This study aimed to determine the effect of free reading in improving the creative expression skills of ninth-grade female students in Jordan. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher developed a test in creative expression, as well as a correction card for creative expression topics, and its validity and reliability were verified. The study sample consisted of (60) female students from the first mixed preparatory school in Irbid, affiliated with UNRWA in Irbid Governorate. They were chosen intentionally and randomly divided into two experimental groups consisting of (30) female students who were taught to use free reading to improve their skills in creative expression. And a control group consisting of (30) students who studied in the usual way. In its results, the study concluded that the experimental group that studied using the educational program based on free reading was superior to the control group that studied in the usual way. The study recommended a number of recommendations, the most important of which are: the necessity of using modern methods that support students in free reading. (Author’s abstract)
