أثر تدريس العلوم الحياتية باستخدام اللوح التفاعلي في تحصيل طالبات الصف التاسع الأساسي في محافظة المفرق
The study aimed to identify the effect of teaching biology using smart board in the 9th Basic Grade Female Students’ achievement in Mafraq Governorate. An experimental method with a quasi-experimental design was used. The subjects of the study consisted of (58) ninth-grade female students from Al-Rabi’ Bint Al-Muawwidh School affiliated with the Directorate of Education of Qasabat Al-Mafraq-Jordan in the second semester of the academic year 2023/2024. It is divided into two groups, one of which (29) female students is considered the experimental group who learned the unit (animal tissues and plant tissues) according to the interactive board method, while the other (29) female students were considered a control group who taught the same unit according to the traditional method. A test was prepared to measure the achievement of the study subjects, and after verifying their validity and reliability, it was applied to the study subjects twice before and after implementing the study. The results of the study showed that there was a statistically significant difference (α = 0.05) between the mean scores of the study groups achievement (total, higher, and lower levels of thinking) and in favor of the experimental group. In light of the results, the study came out with a number of recommendations, like: 1) proposing the introduction of the smart board into school classrooms to teach life sciences, 2) not limiting it to the computer room or the learning resources room.
