درجة ممارسة القيادة المرنة لدى رؤساء الأقسام في الجامعات الأردنية وعلاقتها بمستوى النضج الوظيفي من وجهة نظر أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية
This study aimed to identify the degree of flexible leadership practice among heads in Jordanian universities of departments in Jordanian universities and its relationship to the level of job maturity from the point of view of faculty members, used the descriptive correlational survey approach, the study population consisted of all faculty members in Jordanian public universities in the northern region of Jordan, represented in: (Al al-Bayt University, Al-Yarmouk University, Jordan University of Science Technology), the number of (3244) faculty members, the study was selected in the available method and consisted of (313) faculty members and constituted (9.65%) of the study population, the study tool was developed in the form of a questionnaire distributed in three parts: (study variables, flexible leadership, job maturity). The results showed that: 1) the degree of practicing flexible leadership among department heads in Jordanian universities High degree from the point of view of faculty members came with a high degree in all fields except the field of objectivity came with a medium degree, where the first rank came the field of humility, came in the second place fields of calm and wisdom, the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the average answers of the sample members attributed to the variable of gender, academic rank and experience on the degree of practicing flexible leadership among heads of departments in Jordanian universities. 2) The level of job maturity among department heads in Jordanian universities from the point of view of faculty members came high degree, for all fields except the field of decision-making ability, which came moderate degree, where the first rank came the field of career planning, came in the second rank the field of work environment, came in the third rank the field of problem solving came in the last rank the field of decision-making ability. the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the average responses of the sample members due to the variable of gender, academic rank and experience at the level of job maturity among heads of departments in Jordanian universities. 3) A positive correlation between the degree of practice of flexible leadership and the level of job maturity of department heads in Jordanian universities, and the study recommended that heads of departments consider the university's capabilities when making decisions, that employees are helped to overcome obstacles to achieving their goals by various possible means.
