This study aimed to identify the knowledge level of secondary stage social Studies teachers of the sociology concepts in Al-Mafraq Directorate of Education. The descriptive approach was used to suit it for the purposes of the study. The researcher developed a multiple-choice test consisting of (20) items to measure the level of knowledge of social studies teachers of the concepts of sociology. The study sample consisted of (182) male and female teachers. The results of the study showed that: 1) There were statistically significant differences between performance and the standard mean in the knowledge level of secondary stage social Studies teachers of the sociology concepts in Al-Mafraq Directorate of Education, that the value of (T) was (-38.985) and was within the educationally acceptable level. 2) There were statistically significant differences due to the impact of gender, the differences due to males, and there were significant differences for major and in favor of (history, geography) in the level of their knowledge of the concepts of sociology. The study recommended emphasizing the education and awareness of social studies teachers about the concepts of sociology due to their importance and modernity. (Author’s abstract)
