The study aimed to benefit from the experiences of Germany, China and the United States of America in promoting dual education in Egypt; by identifying the concept of dual education and its importance, and the most important features of the three experiences in the field of dual education, and how it was used as a tool to achieve competitiveness in these societies, and in a way that contributes to the acquisition of learners with the characteristics, competencies and skills that enable them to advance society and catch up with the global community. The descriptive approach was used due to its suitability for the subject of the study. Through this approach criteria were set to compare the Egyptian experience in dual education with the three experiences. The study reached to a number of results, the most important of which are that: the different countries have tended to establish an effective system of dual education that seeks to provide students with the skills required by the labor market, by linking theoretical study in educational institutions with practical training within the workplace, which in turn was reflected in providing the labor market, with skilled and trained workers, played a major role in bringing about a shift and progress in all fields, and was a direct reason for improving its competitiveness locally and globally. Besides, the Egyptian experience is one of the good experiences in this field; as it is consistent with other experiences in many positive aspects, but it involves a number of negative aspects that reduce the quality and effectiveness of this type of education in Egypt, and its ability to achieve competitiveness internally and externally. The study ended with presenting a number of mechanisms that achieve the goal of the study, which were divided into axes including: the objectives of the dual education, the paths through which the dual education is provided, and the effective implementation of the dual education system.
