الدور المجتمعي لجامعة دمياط لمواجهة مشكلة البطالة في ضوء الحوكمة : تصور مقترح
This research attempted to provide a recommended vision for Damietta University's societal role in confronting the problem of youth unemployment in the Damietta Governorate in the context of governance. The theoretical framework of the research presents the concepts of social role, unemployment, and governance, as well as referring to the areas of the university's societal role in general and the role of Damietta University in particular, as well as a presentation of previous studies related to the field of research. The descriptive technique was utilized in the research, and data was collected using a questionnaire tool. The research produced a set of findings, which included the following items: The percentage of those between the ages of 20 and 30 is the highest, with 206 men representing 50.6% of the total. In terms of marital status, married people made up 52.9% of the sample, and 76.1% of the sample preferred positions in government, while 21.3% affirmed that they chose liberal professions over government employment. In light of the findings, the research offered a list of suggestions, which included : 1) Offering study and training programs for various societal sectors with the goal of improving professional and scientific competence and supporting the competencies of those who use their skills in a variety of sectors by encouraging participation and providing scientific data and knowledge to community organizations. 2) Developing connections with businesses and the Investors Association in New Damietta's industrial sector to boost student-run business enterprises through Damietta University, the media, seminars, and conferences, we are fostering an entrepreneurial culture in the Damietta district.
