This study aimed to measure the degree of student involvement in the developed science book for the third grade in Jordan scheduled for the academic year 2021-2022 by displaying the content of the educational material, activities, graphics and forms. To achieve this goal, the descriptive analytical method, by adopting the Romey method with its three models, was used. The community included all the pages of the book, which consists of two parts, with a total of 6 study units. The study sample also included the researched amount of educational material, activities, graphics and forms in the pages of the book. The results showed that the coefficient of inclusion of the educational material for the first and second semesters is (0.55) It is an acceptable percentage. As for graphics and forms, the coefficient of involvement was. In both parts of the book (0.74) it is a good value according to the Romey coefficient. But the involvement of activities according to Romy coefficient reached an acceptable level minimal was (0.47). The researcher recommended need to focus better in activities to be the highest ratio among the three models followed by graphics and forms, then the educational material. This is what is required by the book’s discourse for the age group of the third-grade students. (Author’s abstract)
