The self photo manipulation scale (prepared by the researcher) and body dysmorphic disorder scale (prepared by the researcher) were used. The study found that the level of self photo manipulation and the level of body dysmorphic disorder among students were lower than the mean. The results indicated that there was a statistically significant Positive Correlation between students' scores on self photo manipulation scale (dimensions and total score), except for appearance improvement, and their scores on body dysmorphic disorder scale as a total score and dimensions. The results also revealed that self photo manipulation predicted the body dysmorphic disorder and its dimensions of female students. (Published abstract)
