أثر استراتيجية دورة التعلم السباعية في تنمية عمليات التعلم الأساسية والدافعية نحو تعلم العلوم لدى طلاب الصف الخامس الأساسي
The study aimed to identify the effect (7E’s) learning cycle strategy on development basic science processes and motivation towards learning science among fifth grade students in Jerash governorates. The study followed the experimental approach with a semi-experimental design. The purposefully selected study population consisted of (50) fifth grade students from Sheikh Youssef basic school for boys in Jerash governorate, distributed over two groups: They were randomly assigned, one of them being experimental was studied using the (7E's) learning cycle strategy, while the other was a control group that studied in the normal way. To achieve the aim of the study, a test of basic science processes and a measure of motivation towards learning science were prepared, and their validity and reliability were verified, then applied to the study individuals. The results showed that there was a statistically significant difference at the significance level (α = 0.05) between the arithmetic means of the scores of the experimental and control groups in the basic science operations test, and the measure of motivation towards learning science due to the teaching method, and in favor of the experimental group members. The study came out with several recommendations; the most important of which is employing the (7E’s) learning cycle strategy in teaching science for all academic levels. (Author’s abstract)
