This research aimed at investigating the effect of a program based on (a program based on the chant and the systemic approach in teaching grammar for developing language performance skills among primary stage pupils) the participants of the research were sixty (60) six grade primary stage pupils. The researcher adopted the quasi- experimental design and descriptive design so, there were two groups: an experimental group (n=30) and a control group one (n=30) to collect data, the researcher used multiple instruments: linguistic performance skills checklist and test the results of the research revealed that there was a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental group and the control group in favor of control group.
