The aim of this research is to find out the requirements for integrating people with disabilities in general education schools in Damietta Governorate from the point of view of principals and teachers in general education schools in which there are cases of integration in the ten educational departments in Damietta Governorate. The current research relied on the descriptive approach in collecting and interpreting information with the use of the questionnaire tool as a research tool that fits the nature of this research and was applied to a sample of principals and teachers, whose number is (256) principals and (768) integration teachers, then a stratified random sample of (280) Principals and teachers in integrated schools in the ten educational departments in Damietta Governorate. The research concluded that the requirements for integrating people with disabilities in general education schools are: requirements for legislation and policies, requirements for community awareness towards integration, and requirements for services provided to support integration. The dimension of the requirements for policies and legislation came in the first place with a very high degree of verification, followed by the requirements for services provided to support integration with a very high degree of verification as well, and then followed by the requirements for community awareness with a high degree of verification. The research recommended the need to close schools for integrating people with disabilities in line with global trends, the commitment of political leaders in all their agencies to support integration, and finally the establishment of educational channels as a specialty to provide integration services for people with disabilities.
