This research aims to reveal emotional intelligence and its predictive relationship to social cognition and self-control among caregivers of people with special needs. The research sample consisted of (30) individual caregivers for people with special needs in institutions for people with special needs. The research tools consisted of the emotional intelligence scale, prepared by Amal Othman 2016, the self-control scale prepared by Abdul Mohsen Al-Muhazim 2018, and the social perception scale prepared by Rasha Hassan, Khadija Jassim, Dumo` Abdullah, Retaj Hamza 2017. The descriptive correlative approach was used to reveal the significance of the predictive relationship of emotional intelligence, self-regulation and social cognition among caregivers of people with special needs. The search results resulted in: 1) There is a statistically significant correlation between the scores of caregivers in special needs centers on the self-control scale and their scores on the emotional intelligence scale, 2) There is a statistically significant correlation between the scores of caregivers in special needs centers on the social perception scale and their scores on the emotional intelligence scale, 3) There is a statistically significant correlation between the scores of caregivers in special needs centers on the self-control scale and their scores on the social perception scale, 4) Self-control of caregivers in special needs centers can be predicted through emotional intelligence, 5) The social perception of caregivers in special needs centers can be predicted through emotional intelligence.
