أثر تدريس الكيمياء باستخدام استراتيجية reap في التحصيل واكتساب مهارات التفكير العلمي لدى طالبات الصف العاشر الأساسي في محافظة اربد
The study aimed to explore the effect of teaching the chemical energy unit in the chemistry subject for the tenth grade using REAP strategy in educational achievement and acquisition scientific thinking skills. A quasi-experimental design was used in this study. The study sample consisted of 45 female students in the tenth grade from Al-Silah Secondary School for Girls affiliated to the Directorate of the Bani-Kenana in Irbid governorate in the second semester of the academic year 2022/2023. Students were divided into two groups for two groups, the first group was the experimental group which consisted of 22 students who studied using REAP Strategy, while the second group was the control group which consisted of 23 students who studied using the regular instruction. For achieving the goals of the study, academic achievement test and scientific thinking skills test were used after confirming their validity and reliability. The results showed that there were statistically significant differences at (α=0.05) between the main scores of the experimental and control groups in the academic achievement test and scientific thinking skills test in favour of the experimental group. The study recommended a set of recommendations including motivating science teachers in general and chemistry teachers in particular to use REAP Strategy in students' achievement and scientific skills.
