The research aimed to reveal the reality of the role of educational activities in developing social awareness in special education schools in Damietta Governorate from the point of view of principals, agents, teachers, specialists, and integration officials in special education schools in Damietta Governorate, in an effort to reach a set of recommendations and proposals that would activate the role of educational activities in Developing social awareness in special education schools. And to achieve this main goal, the study sought in its theoretical framework in its first axis: To identify the concept of educational activities of all kinds, and to clarify their role in the social awareness of students with special needs, while its second axis is to stand through it on defining the concept of social awareness, the types of social awareness, and its dimensions, and the research relied in its methodology on the descriptive approach. The researchers used the questionnaire tool, which was applied to a sample of (375) individuals, as the research concluded in its results that the general average of the degree of appreciation of the study individuals was high, as the arithmetic mean for the first field as a whole was (3.86). This indicates the effectiveness of the role of educational activities in special education schools and their positive and effective role in developing students' social awareness and increasing self-confidence and community integration. Involving students in religious events to honor and respect religious rites, increasing keenness to raise students’ religious and ideological awareness and affiliation, increasing activities that include hosting officials from the security services in the school to spread security culture among students.
