The study aims to determine the level of self-awareness in under- achievement students in preparatory stage, as well as to reveal the significance of the link between self-awareness and their social responsibility. The study sample consisted of (40) students. The study tools included a measure of self-awareness for preparatory stage students, a measure of social responsibility. The study found a low level of self-awareness in underachievement students in preparatory stage, and the existence of a positive correlation between some dimensions of self-awareness (self-evaluation, emotional awareness, total score) on the one hand, and total score in social responsibility on the other hand in under- achievement students in preparatory stage.
