This research aimed to provide a proposed perception of ways to meet the challenges of applying the competency system in industrial technical secondary education in Sharkia Governorate by identifying the regulatory and conceptual framework for industrial technical secondary education in Egypt and standing on the theoretical foundations of the competency system in industrial technical secondary education, as well as standing on the challenges of applying the competency system in industrial technical secondary education in Sharkia Governorate and identifying ways to meet the challenges of application, and the research used the descriptive approach, and used the questionnaire as a tool to collect data and was applied to a sample research. The research reached the state's interest in equipping workshops within the practical departments of industrial technical secondary education schools, and good preparation by preparing qualifications and scientific cadres participating in the competency system in industrial technical secondary education schools and its role in the development of Society, continuous development of educational curricula in industrial technical education schools that operate with the competency system to keep pace with the requirements of the times.
