The objective of the research was to evaluate the geography teacher preparation program in light of the requirements of the digital age, it also aimed at proposing a framework for developing geography teacher preparation program to develop the skills of using digital level and prepare an unit of the proposed framework units. The descriptive research methodology was utilized in describing the evaluation results of the list of courses of the Geography Division of the college of Education, Damietta University. The research materials were identified in a list of the requirements of the digital age and a list of the skills of using the digital level and the proposed framework for developing Geography teacher preparation program, the student booklet, and the teacher’s guide for one of the proposed units. The results of the research revealed the shortcomings of the geography teacher preparation program at the College of Education in including the requirements of the digital age to the extent that it qualifies the students of the Geography Department to enter the labor market. Accordingly, the proposed framework was prepared as well as a set of recommendations and directions for future research. (Published abstract)
