The research aimed to reveal the relationship between self-management and academic optimism among university students who are subjected to academic failure. The research used the descriptive correlational method to study the relationship between self-management and academic optimism among university students who are subject to academic failure. The sample consisted of (12) university students divided into (6) students. From the distinguished program, (6) students from the regular program with an average age of (21-23) years. The researcher used the scale of academic failure to choose the sample (prepared by the researcher), the scale of academic optimism (prepared by the researcher), and the scale of self-management (prepared by the researcher). And the results yielded there is a statistically significant relationship between students' scores on the academic optimism scale and their score on the self-management scale among university students who are exposed to academic failure.
