The research aimed at exploring the relationship between meta-emotional skills and professional future anxiety among university students. It also aimed at identifying the possibility of predicting professional future anxiety through meta-emotional skills. The study sample consisted of (772) fourth-year male and female students in Faculty of Education at Damietta University. The researcher prepared a meta-emotional skills scale as well as a professional future anxiety scale to be used as the study tools. The results asserted that university students’ level in meta-emotional skills and professional future anxiety is higher than average. Moreover, it was stated that there is a statistically significant negative correlation between meta-emotional skills and professional future anxiety among university students. Finally, the findings revealed the possibility of predicting university students’ professional future anxiety through the following meta-emotional skills: emotional awareness, self-motivation, self-monitoring, emotion management and appraisal of emotion.
