This study aimed to know the role of school leaders in managing the education of the governorate of Sharurah in achieving social responsibility and ways to activate it, and to know the difficulties they face in achieving social responsibility from the teachers' point of view. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive approach, the study applied to a sample of (175) male and female teachers, of whom (92) male teachers and (83) female teachers were chosen by the simple random method. The study concluded in its results that the role of school leaders in the management of education in the governorate of Sharurah in achieving societal responsibility came with a medium degree. However, responsibility towards the homeland came in the first place with an average degree of approval, while self-responsibility (personal) came last with a medium degree of approval. The results also revealed that the difficulties in achieving social responsibility from teachers' point of view were high, and the most important of these difficulties was the lack of training programs for school leaders in the areas of social responsibility. It was found that there is no statistically significant difference between samples according to the gender and teaching experience variable. However, there are related differences statistical significance between samples according to the school level variable in favor of the secondary schools. (Published abstract)
