This study aimed to identify the degree of practice of school principals in the northwestern Badia education directorate of path and goal theory patterns and its relationship to the job role, the researcher used the descriptive correlational survey approach, and the study sample was selected in a simple random way, where it consisted of (165) teachers, and the researcher used the questionnaire as a tool for the study, which was distributed in three parts: (study variables, and patterns of path and goal theory, and functional role) statistical transactions have been carried out to verify their validity and stability. The results showed that: 1) The degree of practice of school principals in the education of the northwestern Badia of the patterns of path theory and the goal from the point of view of teachers came with a medium degree, as the first rank came the field of the supporting style with a high degree, and the second rank came the directive pattern with a high degree, and the third rank came the achievement-oriented pattern with a medium degree, and the last rank came the participating pattern with a medium degree, and the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the average answers of the sample members on the degree of practice of school principals in the Directorate of The Northwestern Badia breeding of path-and-goal theory patterns is attributed to the variables of gender, academic qualification and number of years of experience. 2) The level of the functional role of school principals in the Directorate of Education of the Northwestern Badia from the point of view of teachers came to an average degree, and the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the average answers of the sample members at the level of practice of school principals in the Directorate of Education of the Northwestern Badia for the functional role attributed to the variables of gender, academic qualification and number of years of experience. 3) A positive and statistically significant correlation between the degree of practice of school principals in the Directorate of Education of the Northwestern Badia for the patterns of path theory and the goal of the functional role of principals from the point of view of teachers, and the study recommended providing an appropriate organizational climate and an interactive environment that contributes to the development of the functional roles of school principals to raise the level of teachers and improve their performance.
