This study aimed to identify the impact of the use of cooperative education strategy in the development of spelling skills of third grade students in Najran city. To achieve the goal of the study, the researcher used the descriptive and semi-experimental methodology. The population of the study was represented by third grade students in all Najran city, while the sample of the study was limited to (80) A student, represented (40) student of the experimental group, while (40) student of the control group, and the study tools were to prepare a list of spelling skills of third grade students, and the preparation of a guide for how to teach spelling skills strategy teaching. The study found the existence of statistically significant differences between the two study groups in favor of the experimental group at the expense of the control group in the selected spelling skills as a whole, and in the light of the results of the study recommended the researcher to activate The cooperative education strategy to develop all skills because they have an active role in the educational process, the researcher suggested further studies on the strategy of cooperative education.
