أثر توظيف المسرح التعليمي في تحسين مهارات التحدث لدى طالبات الصف الخامس الأساسي في محافظة إربد
This study aimed to investigate The Effect of Educational Theater Employment on Enhancing Female Fifth-Grade Students Speaking Skills In Irbid Governorate. To achieve this goal, the experimental approach with a semi-experimental design was used. A study sample was selected from schools affiliated with the education directorate of Qasaba Irbid, where the number of study participants was 40 students. They were divided into two groups: experimental and control. The educational theatre method was applied to the experimental group for eight weeks. To measure the impact of the educational theatre, a pre- and post-test speaking performance was conducted on both groups, and the results of each speaking skill were recorded on a speaking skills observation card. The statistical t-test for independent samples was used to test differences between experimental and control groups, based on the means and standard deviations of the pre- and post-test performance. The study revealed statistically significant differences at the significance level (a = 0.05) between the mean performance of fifth grade female students who received education through the educational theatre approach and those who received education through the traditional method. The differences were in favor of the experimental group. The study recommends that teachers of the Arabic language in the basic stage use the educational theater as a teaching strategy. For its great role in developing Arabic language and communication skills, the most important of which are listening and speaking skills, and its effectiveness in improving these language skills.
