درجة ممارسة معلمي الدراسات الاجتماعية في محافظة المفرق لمبادئ الحوكمة وعلاقتها ببعض المتغيرات
This study aims to identify the degree of practicing the principles of governance by the teachers of social studies taking into consideration the following variables: experience, gender, and specialization. The study subjects consisted of (182) teachers. The study adopted the descriptive approach. And to achieve the objectives of this study, a questionnaire was developed to measure the degree of practicing the principles of governance of social studies teachers; this questionnaire addressed three categories: transparency and integrity, accountability, and justice. In its final form, this tool contained (31) paragraphs. The results of this study showed that: 1) The degree of practicing the principles of governance by the teachers of social studies was high. The category of justice came in the first place, followed by the category of transparency and integrity in second place, and finally came the category of accountability in the third place. 2) There were no statistically significant differences regarding the impact of gender, experience, and specialization in the degree of practicing the principles of governance among the subjects. Thus, in the light of the results, the researcher presented a set of recommendations, most notably the need to continue to apply the principles of governance and to employ them because of their importance in the educational process.
